ABOUT THE CAPTAIN ~

Captain Darrell Hendricks has been fishing the Outer Banks of North Carolina for 15 years and has been licensed for 11 of those. He is constantly employing new techniques to ensure your excursion is filled with fishing success stories. "I just love to fish," says the captain, who is family oriented and works well with children, families, and novices alike. Over the last few seasons, Captain Darrell Hendricks has won the 2006 Pelicans Roost Cobia Tourament as well as the winner as mate of the 2006 Hatteras Grand Slam Marlin Tour. BOAT & EQUIPMENT~

Captain Hendricks' fishing vessel is a 2003 Tideline Carolina Custom Built 24 foot featuring a 200 Yamaha Four Stroke motor. Being that the tiderunner is a Carolina Custom, it has that distinctive large bow to handle the water going out of the inlet and is a great shallow water boat for getting anglers to those hard to get to honey holes and a Cobia viewing tower to be able to sight cast to the big game. The vessel is set up with full electronics and XM Radio for your listening pleasure. Life Jackets, Flares, and Extinguishers are easily accessed. For fishing, the crew uses mainly spinning rods and artifices. We cater to Fly Fisherman as well, but please bring your own tackle!
