About the Captain
Capt. Aaron Aaron is an inshore and offshore light tackle pro. With over 20 years of salt water experience, he has fished from Cape Hatteras to the Caribbean. He started fishing as a young boy with his father in the canyons off of Virginia Beach and the Outer Banks. Aaron then moved south to Florida to jump Tarpon around Boca Grand pass, poled through Tampa Bay after tailing Reds, and caught Snook until the wee hours of the night. After nine years of South Florida, he decided to go a little further south to the U.S. Virgin Islands. There he caught Permit, Snook and Bones as well as the offshore species with light tackle and fly rods. After several years of island time, Aaron moved his son and wife back to the island Aaron knew as a kid, Hatteras. So, at the end of your fishing day with Capt Aaron, you will leave with a little knowledge, a good story, and some dinner!
Our Boat
Our fishing vessel is a 2003 Tideline Carolina Custom Built 24 foot featuring a 200 Yamaha Four Stroke motor. Being that the tiderunner is a Carolina Custom, it has that distinctive large bow to handle the water going out of the inlet and is a great shallow water boat for getting anglers to those hard to get to honey holes and a Cobia viewing tower to be able to sight cast to the big game. The vessel is set up with full electronics and XM Radio for your listening pleasure. Life Jackets, Flares, and Extinguishers are easily accessed. For fishing, the crew uses mainly spinning rods and artifices. We cater to Fly Fisherman as well, but please bring your own tackle!
